Singapore, 9 June 2015 – Captain of victorious Netball Team Singapore Ms. Micky Lin Qingyi celebrates her team’s ‘prize” – a bottle of Champagne – from M Hotel’s Assistant Director of Revenue Management Mr Nigel Boey, after the team clinched its first-ever Gold Medal at the South-east Asian (SEA) Games on Sunday (7 June, 2015.)

M Hotel Singapore was the team’s official residence of the SEA Games and the hotel’s staff has been raising the profile of the SEA Games by serving up customised cupcakes with the teams’ respective country flags and the SEA Games logo to hotel guests.

M Hotel and two other Millennium and Copthorne Hotels properties – Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel and Copthorne King’s Hotel – are among the 20 official SEA Games hotels located in a “village in a city”, a concept adopted by the biennial SEA Games Organising Committee to house athletes near the Sports Hub and where most of the competitions and fringe activities will be held.
